               Jubilee Platinum plc ('Jubilee' or 'the Company')


The board of Jubilee Platinum plc regret to announce the death of the Company's
non-executive chairman, Stephen Kearney, after a short illness.  Stephen was a
well respected board member and will be very sadly missed.

The Company will address a reappointment in due course.
