Exercise of Options & Director/PDMR Shareholding

Exercise of Options: Judges Scientific plc yesterday issued 1,000 new Ordinary Shares of 5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") pursuant to the exercise of options under the Company's Approved Share Option Scheme. Application has been made for the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 12 July 2013.

Following the exercise of these options, the enlarged issued share capital of the Company will be 5,319,999 Ordinary Shares.

Share Incentive Plan: the Company has also been advised that purchases of Ordinary Shares were made on Friday 5 July 2013 by the Trustees of the Share Incentive Plan on behalf of two Directors of the Company, as follows:

A total of eight Ordinary Shares were purchased on behalf of David Cicurel, the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, to which the Company added a further eight Ordinary Shares under the "matching" provisions of the Plan rules.  His resulting interest in the Company is 916,338 Ordinary Shares representing 17.22 per cent of the issued Ordinary share capital.

A total of eight Ordinary Shares were purchased on behalf of Ralph Cohen, the Finance Director of the Company, to which the Company added a further eight Ordinary Shares under the "matching" provisions of the Plan rules.  His resulting interest in the Company is 50,857 Ordinary Shares representing 0.95 per cent of the issued Ordinary share capital.  In addition, he holds options over 43,100 Ordinary Shares under the Company's Share Option Plans.

The purchases by the Trustees were made at a price of 1455.0p per Ordinary Share.  Purchases of a further 519 Ordinary Shares were made on the same date and at the same price on behalf of 52 other members of staff under the Plan.
