Contract Win worth £2.0m
with Global Retailer
K3, which supplies and supports IT solutions for the retail, distribution and
manufacturing sectors, is pleased to announce that its retail division has
agreed a contract worth approximately £2.0m with US-based GameStop Corp., one of
the world's largest video game retailers with approximately 4,600 GameStop and
EB Games stores worldwide. The contract is to install and support Microsoft
Dynamics NAV software within regional head offices in Europe, the Pacific Rim
and Americas. The installation of the first head office system for Europe is
expected to be completed in early May 2007.
K3 previously implemented a Microsoft Dynamics NAV system for the retailer in
Ireland, where it has a number of stores. Following the success of this
implementation, the Company was invited to tender for the head offices contract
against significant competition.
K3 will be installing a central system covering Inventory Management,
Merchandising, Replenishment, Warehousing & Distribution, and Financial
Management for these regions and managing the data from 1,000's of stores. K3
has been the one of the leading resellers of Microsoft Dynamics in the UK for
the last five years.
Andy Makeham, CEO, of K3 commented,
'This is a prestigious win for K3 and follows the successful installation of
Microsoft Dynamics NAV software for the retailer's stores in Ireland. I hope
there are future opportunities for us to deepen our relationship with this
highly successful retailer.'
