RAP GROUP PLC
BOARD CHANGES AND NEW ADVISERS
RAP Group plc announces that John Savage, Chairman and Chief Executive of the
Company, has resigned with immediate effect. This is in line with a statement
of intent made in the rights issue document dated 26 June 2000. In addition,
John Grimshaw, Operations Director, has also resigned with immediate effect.
Until such time as further appointments are made to the Board, Brian Shaw will
assume responsibility for the Company's DIY and gardening division. David
Bolton continues as Finance Director, while Andy Makeham will continue to be
responsible for e-commerce development and strategy.
As previously indicated the Company intends to make selective acquisitions
should opportunities arise.
In addition, the Company wishes to announce the appointment of Rowan
Dartington & Co. Limited as its new nominated broker and nominated adviser
with immediate effect.
