Kenwood combines Board sales
and marketing roles
Kenwood Appliances plc announced today that it is combining
all aspects of its sales and marketing operations at Board
level. This new role will be taken by Philippe Crevoisier,
Managing Director of Ariete, who will assume the Group
marketing and European sales responsibilities currently
fulfilled by Adam Formela, who will leave the company at the
end of the month.
Philippe Crevoisier, who joined the company in 1995, was
appointed to the Board of Kenwood Appliances plc in 1998. He
is Managing Director of Ariete, Kenwood's highly successful
and innovative Italian subsidiary that was acquired in 1994.
He is also responsible for Kenwood's sales in Asia Pacific,
Africa and the Middle East.
Colin Gordon, Chief Executive, said today. 'Combining these
roles at Board level will give greater focus and co-ordination
to our sales and marketing operations as we continue to
transform Kenwood into an agile brand-led company.
Philippe's proven international sales and marketing experience
make him ideally suited for this role.
'I would also like to thank Adam Formela for his contribution
to the transformation process, and wish him well for the
future.'
