KENMARE RESOURCES PLC ('KENMARE')

Exercise of Share Options

Options over 100,000 Ordinary Shares of IR5p each in the capital of Kenmare
have been exercised pursuant to the Kenmare Share Option Scheme. Application
has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange for
the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to, respectively, the Official List of
the Irish Stock Exchange and the Official List of the London Stock Exchange.
The new Ordinary Shares rank pari passu in all respects with existing Ordinary
Shares.
