Unofficial Industrial Action at Moma Mine

Kenmare Resources plc. reports that unofficial industrial action  has commenced at its Moma Titanium Minerals Mine ("the Mine") in Mozambique. Annual wage negotiations between Kenmare and the employees' union had been progressing when an unofficial strike was called by a group of employees. Production has been temporarily suspended at the Mine. Kenmare, employee representatives and officials from the Ministry of Mines and the Ministry of Labour are now working towards an early resolution of the issues.
