The issuer has advised of the following amendment to the Mercury Keystone
Investment Trust PLC - Doc re Report & Accounts announcement released on 18
November 1999 at 17:50 under RNS No 0607B.

In Note 16 to the accounts in the annual report for Mercury Keystone
Investment Trust plc as at 30th September 1999 a figure of £58 million was
given for the approximate current fair value of the debenture stock.  An error
was made in this calculation and it should have read £47.8 million.
