APPOINTMENT OF FINANCE DIRECTOR

Further to the announcement of 18 September 2014, Kier Group plc ("Kier") confirms that Bev Dew will take up the role of Finance Director with effect from 1 January 2015.

Haydn Mursell, Chief Executive of Kier, said: "I am delighted to be able to announce that Bev will be joining us in the New Year and I look forward to welcoming him to Kier. 

"Bev has an excellent track record and a breadth of sector knowledge, having worked in the industry over a number of years.  I am confident that Bev will make a significant contribution to the Board and to the delivery of our growth strategy, Vision 2020."
