Board Change
Kier Group plc (the "Company") announces that its Chairman, Philip Cox, has informed the board of directors (the "Board") that he will retire as Chairman and step down from the Board once a successor has been appointed. The search process for Mr. Cox's successor has commenced.
Mr. Cox joined the Board on 1 July 2017 and became Chairman on 31 August 2017. He has overseen the recent appointment of a new management team and has decided that it would now be appropriate for the Company to appoint a new Chairman to work with the Board to deliver the strategic actions announced on 17 June 2019.
