Kier Group plc announces that on 2nd January 2007 Mr Paul John Staniland (PDMR)
was allotted 590 ordinary shares in the Company, following an exercise on that
day of options under the Kier Group Sharesave Scheme.
Following this transaction, Mr Staniland's total beneficial interest in
Kier Group plc is 54,068 shares representing 0.149% of the current issued share
capital.
The total number of ordinary shares of 1p in issue as at the date of this notice
is 36,299,940 shares, with each share carrying the right to one vote. The total
number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 36,299,940.
There are no shares held in Treasury.
The above figure may be used by shareholders to determine if they are required
to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital
of the Company under the Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.
