allotted 7,882 Ordinary Shares in the Company, following the exercise on that
day of options over 5,882 shares at 170p per share and 2,000 shares at 189.5p
per share under the Kier Group plc Performance Related Option Scheme.

Following this transaction Mr Gregory's total beneficial interest in Kier Group
plc is 25,178 shares, representing 0.07% of the current issued capital of
35,533,642 ordinary shares.
