The following replaces the announcement released 9 December 2003 at 16:14 under
RNS number 0558T. Due to a typing error Colin Busby's total share interests were
reported as 562,727 instead of the correct figure of 563,727. The full amended
text appears below:
Kier Group plc announces that on 9 December 2003 the following were allotted new
ordinary shares at a price of 629.3p per share instead of cash in respect of the
final dividend for the year ended 30 June 2003:
Mr C R W Busby and Mrs M L Busby: 6,565 shares
Mr R W Gregory and Mrs A M Gregory: 350 shares
Mr P T Warry: 128 shares
Following these transactions the beneficial holdings of the above mentioned
directors were:
