Kier Group plc announces that the interim dividend in respect of the financial year ending 30 June 2012 of 21.5 pence per share referred to in its results announcement yesterday will be paid on 11 May 2012 to shareholders on the register of members at close of business on 2 March 2012. 

The ex-dividend date will be 29 February 2012 and a scrip dividend alternative will be offered.

CREST participants will only be able to elect to take the scrip dividend alternative via CREST.
