Director Declaration - John Nelson

Kingfisher plc today announces that Mr John Nelson, who has served as a non-executive director for nine years, will step down from his position by the end of 2011, following the announcement of his appointment today as Chairman of Lloyd's.

The process to identify a successor for Mr Nelson, who is the Company's deputy chairman and chairman of the remuneration committee, will commence shortly and a further announcement will be made in due course.
