Notification of a Transaction by a Director/Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities (PDMR)

In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R(1), Kingfisher plc ("the Company") notifies the market that the Company was advised on 26 March 2010 that Kevin O'Byrne, a Director of the Company and PDMR, had acquired an interest in 17,500 shares of the Company. The shares were acquired on 26 March 2010 at a price of 224.208 pence per share, and are registered in the name of Hargreaves Lansdowne Nominee Ltd.  

Following the above transaction, Mr O'Byrne's total beneficial holding is 130,494 shares.
