Kingfisher plc became aware on 13 November 2000 that:
1. Certain Directors of Kingfisher plc, whose names are set out below,
technically became interested on that date in 8,000 Kingfisher plc ordinary
shares of 12.5p each by virtue of the ESOP (a discretionary trust established by
Kingfisher plc for the benefit of its employees and those of its subsidiaries)
exercising rights to require Kingfisher to allot shares under arrangements for
it to satisfy share options granted to employees.
2. Each of the below-named Directors of Kingfisher plc technically ceased to be
interested on that date in 8,000 Kingfisher plc ordinary shares of 12.5p each by
virtue of the ESOP arranging for the allotment of such shares directly to the
order of the employees exercising those options.
Note. For Companies Act purposes, certain Directors of Kingfisher plc, whose
names are set out below, together with all employees of the Company, are deemed
to have a technical interest in any shares in which Kingfisher's ESOP has an
interest. The interest ceases when the ESOP ceases to have such an interest.

Kingfisher plc
Kingfisher plc became aware on 13 November 2000 that certain Directors of
Kingfisher plc, whose names are set out below, technically became interested
on that date in 21,336 Kingfisher plc ordinary shares of 12.5p each by
virtue of the QUEST being allotted the shares and the Directors being
potential beneficiaries under the QUEST.
Kingfisher plc also became aware on 13 November 2000 that each of the below
named Directors of Kingfisher plc technically ceased to be interested on
that date in 21,336 Kingfisher plc ordinary shares of 12.5p each by virtue
of the QUEST transferring the shares to employees.
Note. For Companies Act purposes, certain Directors of Kingfisher plc,
whose names are set out below, together with all employees of the Company, are
deemed to have a technical interest in the shares held in Kingfisher's QUEST.
The interest ceases when shares are transferred to individuals who exercise
their employee ShareSave scheme options.
