Kingfisher plc became aware on 20 November 2003 that:
On 14 November 2003 each of the below-named Directors of Kingfisher plc
technically ceased to be interested in 38,345 Kingfisher plc ordinary shares of
15 5/7p each by virtue of the ESOP (a discretionary trust established by
Kingfisher plc for the benefit of its employees and those of its subsidiaries)
arranging for the transfer of shares directly to the order of the employees
exercising share appreciation rights granted under the Company's executive share
options schemes.
The total holding of the ESOP following this transfer was 32,832,369 Kingfisher
shares and 93,004 Kesa Electricals plc shares.
Note:
For Companies Act purposes, certain Directors of Kingfisher plc, whose names are
set out below, together with all employees of the Company and its subsidiaries,
are deemed to have a technical interest in any shares in which Kingfisher's ESOP
has an interest. The interest ceases when the ESOP ceases to have such an
interest.
