Kingfisher investor event in New York

Kingfisher plc will today be meeting US investors in New York, where senior management from across the business will be in attendance and available for questions.

No formal presentations will be made and, given Kingfisher reported its interim results on 16 September 2010, there will be no update on current trading. The opening remarks from Ian Cheshire, Kingfisher's Group Chief Executive and his introductory slides will be available on Kingfisher's website www.kingfisher.com following the event, which starts at 4pm (Eastern Standard time).

Kingfisher's next trading update is on 2 December 2010, covering Kingfisher's third quarter.
