The issuer has made the following amendment to the Result of AGM
announcement released today at 11.30 under RNS No 0989L.
The second sentence of the first paragraph should read 'Shareholders approved
the payment of the final dividend of 10.5 pence per share payable 22 June 2000.'
All other details remain unchanged.

KINGFISHER ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Kingfisher plc held its Annual General Meeting in London today. Shareholders
approved the payment of the final dividend of 10.5 pence per share payable 22
June 2000.
Sir John Banham, Kingfisher Chairman announced that Lady Elspeth Howe would be
retiring from the Board at the end of May 2000.
