Kingfisher plc - Voting Rights and Capital


On 9 January 2007 47,334 new ordinary shares were issued to satisfy the exercise
of options.


The current issued share capital as at today's date (9 January 2007) is
2,358,920,133 ordinary shares including those 20,976,185 ordinary shares held by
Kingfisher plc under the Kingfisher 1993 Employee Share Ownership Plan Trust.


The total number of shares with voting rights as at today's date (9 January
2007) is 2,337,943,948.


The above figure (2,337,943,948) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Kingfisher plc under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
