The issued share capital of Kingfisher plc at close of business on 30 April 2007
and as at today's date is 2,359,891,388 ordinary shares including those
18,391,578 ordinary shares held by Kingfisher plc under the Kingfisher 1993
Employee Share Ownership Plan Trust.


The total number of shares with voting rights is 2,341,499,810.


The above figure (2,341,499,810) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Kingfisher plc under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
