Kingfisher plc - Voting Rights and Capital

As a result of the recent transfer of 281,305 ordinary shares from the
Kingfisher 1993 Employee Share Ownership Plan Trust, to satisfy the exercise of
share options, the current issued share capital of Kingfisher plc at 31 March
2008 is 2,360,807,678 ordinary shares.  This figure includes 16,897,489 ordinary
shares held by Kingfisher plc under the Employee Share Ownership Plan Trust.

The total number of shares with voting rights as at the close of business on 31
March 2008 is 2,343,910,189.

The above figure (2,343,910,189) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Kingfisher plc under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
