       Kingspan announcements Appointment of new non-executive Directors


The Chairman and Chief Executive of Kingspan Group plc, Mr. Eugene Murtagh, has
today announced the appointment of Mr. Brian Joyce and Mr. Tony McArdle as
non-Executive Directors of the Company.

Mr. Joyce was formerly Managing Director of the The Irish Dairy Board (Bord
Bainne) and is currently Chairman of the EBS Building Society and The Mater
Private Hospital.  He is also Director of a number of other private companies.
 Mr Joyce resigned as a Director of Norish plc in October 2002.

Mr McArdle recently retired from Ulster Bank, after 35 years service.     During
his career with Ulster Bank,  he was Chief Executive of Lombard & Ulster, Head
of Corporate Banking and most recently held the position of Chief Executive of
Retail Banking.

Except as stated above, neither Mr. Joyce or Mr. McArdle has not held any
directorships in any publicly quoted company at any time in the past five years
and there are no disclosures to be made pursuant to Section 6.F.2(b) to (g) of
the Listing Rules.
