The Board of Kingspan Group plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr.
Brian Hill, as a non-executive director of the Company from the 1st June, 2005.

Mr Hill retired at the end of last year from the board of CRH plc after a 33
year career.  He was head of the Europe Products & Distribution division, which
has sales of €4 billion.

Mr Hill is also a non-executive director of Unidare PLC and a number of private
companies.

Mr Hill does not hold any shares in the Company. There are no disclosures to be
made pursuant to Section 6.F.2 (b) to (g) of the Listing Rules.
