                SECTIONS 67 TO 80 COMPANIES ACT 1990 ('THE ACT')



This notification relates to issued ordinary shares of Euro 0.13 each in the
capital of Kingspan plc (the 'Company') and is given in fulfilment of the
obligations imposed by sections 67 to 71 and otherwise by Chapter 2 of Part IV
of the Companies Act, 1990.



We write to inform you that immediately after the time when the obligation to
make this notification arose, Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. and its subsidiaries
(as defined in the above mentioned sections of the Act) ('AIB') no longer has a
notifiable interest in the share capital of your Company.
