Kingspan Group plc announce the appointment of Mr. David Byrne as a
non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1st January 2005.

At present Mr. Byrne does not hold any shares in the Company.

He is currently a Director of Colla Management Limited.

Mr. Byrne has not held any directorships in any publicly quoted company at any
time in the past five years and there are no disclosures to be made pursuant to
Section 6.F.2 (b) to (g) of the Listing Rules.
