          Kingspan announces Appointment of new non-executive director


Dublin, Ireland, 30 May, 2003; The Chairman and Chief executive of Kingspan
Group plc, Mr. Eugene Murtagh, has today announced the appointment of Mr Tom
Mulcahy as a non-Executive Director of the Company. Mr Mulcahy was Chief
Executive of AIB plc until his retirement in June 2001 and is currently Chairman
of Aer Lingus.



Accept as stated above, he has not held any directorships in any publicly quoted
company at any time in the past five years and there are no disclosures to be
made pursuant to Section 6.F.2(b) to (g) of the Listing Rules.
