This notification relates to issued ordinary shares of Euro 13 cents each in the
capital of Kingspan Group plc (the 'Company') and is given in fulfilment of the
obligations imposed by sections 67 to 71 and otherwise by Chapter 2 of Part IV
of the Companies Act, 1990.

We write to inform you that immediately after the time when the obligation to
make this notification arose Allied Irish Banks plc ('AIB') and its subsidiaries
had a total notifiable interest (as defined in the above mentioned sections of
the Act) in 11,736,295 shares in the capital of your Company.

A breakdown of that interest between registered holders (as required by Section
71 (3) of the Act) to the extent known to us, is attached.
