         Announcement on completion of Acquisition of Treasury Stocks

KONAMI CORPORATION (the Company) hereby notifies that the acquisition of
treasury stocks, as was resolved in the meeting of Board of Directors (held on 4
October 2001) pursuant to changes of Commercial Code of Japan, was completed. 
The details of the repurchase are as follows:

1. Type of shares acquired: Common stock of the company
2. Number of shares acquired: 4,256,800 shares
3. Total acquisition cost: 14,999,942,500 yen
4. Acquisition Period: Oct.9,2001 to Mar. 13,2002
5. Acquisition method: Acquire on the Tokyo Stock Exchange
