             Announcement on Amendment of Financial Forecast
               for the Six Months Ended September 30, 2001

1. We amended the interim financial forecast announced on May 9, 2001.

 Six months ended September 30, 2001:

2. Reasons for Amendment

Sales of 'JIKKYO POWERFUL PRO BASEBALL' series have shown stable growth; 
especially 'JIKKYO POWERFUL PRO BASEBALL 2001' for PlayStation marked more-than-
expected sales performance as well as 'PAWAPROKUN POCKET 3' for Game Boy Advance
showed stable growth of the sales. Sales of the golf game introduced in U.S., 
'ESPN Final Round Golf 2002' for Game Boy Advance also showed constant growth. 
On the other hand, the Company attempted to reduce selling, general and 
administrative expenses by implementing cost cuttings throughout the Company and
cost management.
In these circumstances, sales, ordinary income, and net income for the six 
months ended September 30, 2001 are expected to be higher than the financial 
forecast previously announced as above.
Financial forecast for the year ended March 31, 2002 has unchanged as previously
announced.
