Corporate Information: Stock Option Plan Operating Own Stocks Shared by Others
On September 22, KONAMI CORPORATION will incorporate what we call 'advanced
agreement on trade providing incentives to the employees', one of the stock
option plans that operates KONAMI CORPORATION's stocks (shares) held by third
party, granting rights to the selected group of employees from not only KONAMI
CORPORATION, but also KONAMI Group Companies and sales agents. This is the
second trial following the last implementation of 'advanced agreement on trade
providing incentives to the employees' introduced in September 1997 for the
first time in Japan, and for KONAMI this is the forth time as a stock option
plan including other cases.
This 'advanced trade agreement' based plan that provides incentives to the
employees' is outlined as following:
1. Objective of the grant
To improve the motivation and incentives of the selected employees to
the higher-level of consolidated business results.
2. Employees selected for the grant
800 of employees from KONAMI CORPORATION, KONAMI Group Companies, and
employees of KONAMI sales agents.
3. Date of the grant to be effective
September 22, 2000
4. Number of own (KONAMI's) shares held by third party to be granted are
maximum of 150,000 shares (common stocks).
5. Exercise price per share
Final price at TSE on the day before the effective date of grant times
1.20
6. Valid period of the grant
October 1, 2003 to September 2005
