                     Change of Company Name of a Subsidiary

PEOPLE CO., LTD

On April 12, 2001, the Board of Directors of the company resolved to change its
company name to Konami Sports Corporation and ask for the approval at the
Shareholders' Meeting on May 24, 2001.

The details are as follows:

1.   Reason for Change

     We will change the company name to 'Konami Sports Corporation' since the   
     company joined the Konami Group as a consolidated subsidiary.

     However, the names of brands of facilities, such as 'People', 'eg-zas',    
     'FREIZEIT' and 'Scle', will not be changed.

2.   Company Name after Change

     Konami Sports Corporation

3.   Effective Date of Change

     June 1, 2001
