ASX and JSE trading recommences

Further to the announcement made on 24 December 2019 regarding a suspension in trading in the Company's ordinary shares on the Australian Stock Exchange ("ASX") and the continued halt in trading on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange ("JSE"), the Company is now pleased to confirm trading has recommenced on both the ASX and JSE.

The halt in trading on ASX and JSE was due to the Company's announcement of 17 December entitled 'Projects Update' under RNS No 0176X (the "17 December Project Update Announcement") containing certain statements that ASX advised were not fully compliant with the ASX Listing Rules.

Accordingly, the Company has today issued a clarificatory statement announcement amending metrics relating to the Company's test work at the DX project, metallurgical test results, and capital optimisation programmes to satisfy ASX Listing Rules.

Within the ASX Update of 30 December the Company, whilst retracting certain comments at the request of the ASX, has additionally disclosed that recently acquired 2D seismic surveys information will be used as input data for an updated Mineral Resource Estimate to be undertaken early in Q1 2020. The Company is satisfied that the original 17 December Project Update Announcement was in accordance with the AIM Rules for Companies and accordingly is not seeking to provide any update to the announcement made on AIM under RNS 0178X and also notes some additional information provided above. The Company's ordinary shares have continued to trade on the London Stock Exchange uninterrupted during this period.
