                                 NOTICE OF AGM


Lancashire Holdings Limited (the 'Company') will hold its Annual General Meeting
('AGM') on 30 April 2008 at 1pm (Bermuda time) at its Bermuda office, Mintflower
Place, 8 Par-la-Ville Road, Hamilton, Bermuda. Notice of the AGM ('AGM Notice'),
a form of proxy, a form of direction for holders of depository interests and the
annual report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2007 have been posted
to Shareholders today.

Copies of the AGM Notice and the annual report and accounts will be available on
