Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange Plc and the financial
Services Authority for 38,704 Ordinary shares of £1 each ('shares') to be
admitted to the Official List.It is expected that admission will be granted on
22 January 2001 and that dealings will commence on 23 January 2001.

These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of share options
under the following schemes;
