Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange plc for 84,440 ordinary shares of 10p each ('shares') to be
admitted to the Official List.



It is expected admission will be granted on 3 June 2005 and trading will
commence on 6 June 2005.



These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of share options under
the Land Securities Savings Related Share Option Scheme (5,194) and the Land
Securities Executive Share Option Scheme (79,246).



These shares now rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares.
