Impending Board Changes at Land Securities PLC
Following the year-end announcement Land Securities is pleased to report that
the restructuring of the business is progressing well. With the appointment
of Peter Walicknowski, as director responsible for Strategy and Business
Development the Group is advancing its plans to acquire new skills and expects
to announce shortly the appointment of a new asset manager.
After 31 years of continuous service Keith Redshaw has decided to retire on
his 55th birthday in March 2001. Jim Murray (54), Finance Director, has also
indicated that he will not be standing for re-election at the next AGM. We
will be sorry to lose both Keith and Jim after the excellent contribution they
have made to Land Securities and to the property sector.
