Mr M R Griffiths - Director of Land Securities PLC

It has come to our attention that the following notifications (Schedule 11
forms) contained an incorrect figure for Mr Griffiths' total holding following
the relevant notifications.

The notifications in question were dated 24 July 2000 (RNS No. 3586O), 25
September 2000 (RNS 4895R) and 27 September 2000 (RNS No. 6660R).  In each of
these notifications, the balance outstanding of Mr Griffiths' shareholding was
overstated by 662 shares.

For the record, the correct current balance for Mr Griffiths' beneficial holding
in Land Securities PLC is 32,636 shares.
