LAND SECURITIES SELLS BOWATER HOUSE, KNIGHTSBRIDGE



Land Securities Group PLC confirms that, further to its announcement in November
2004, it has completed the sale of Bowater House to a Guernsey based property
development vehicle.  The sale price was £150m.



Mike Hussey, Land Securities' Managing Director, London Portfolio, commented:

value we have created through developing plans for a world-class residential
scheme.'
