Postponement of Audit Tender
The Law Debenture Corporation p.l.c. (the "Corporation") disclosed in its annual report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2019 that it intended to undertake an audit tender during the course of 2020 to ensure that the costs of the audit were competitive, following a step increase in the audit fees for the 2019 audit.
Following the announcement of Katie Thorpe's departure from Law Debenture the Audit Committee has agreed to postpone the tender process until 2021. This will give the new management team, announced on 2 September, time to embed before we seek to move forward with the audit tender process.
