Leeds Group announces that, following the resignation of Mr Chris Marsden from
the position of Chief Executive, the board has appointed Mr Malcolm Wilson as
Group Managing Director. Mr Wilson is a Chartered Accountant, and has served as
Group Finance Director since April 1999. Since that date he has also served as
Chairman of Leeds Leasing plc, the subsidiary that has become Leeds Group's core
activity in the UK. Prior to joining the board of Leeds Group, he served for
eight years as Group Finance Director with Yorkshire Group plc.

Mrs Dawn Bowler has been appointed to succeed Mr Wilson as Group Finance
Director. Mrs Bowler qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1991. She
has served as Group Financial Controller since 1996, and as Company Secretary
since 1997. Mrs Bowler will continue to act as Company Secretary.
