Management Buy-Out of Sharps Fabric Printers completed
Leeds Group announces that the sale of Sharps Fabric Printers to its management
team was completed yesterday for the sum of approximately £650,000. Following
the sale of the Scottish-based yarn dyeing and fabric finishing businesses in
January of this year, Sharps became the last UK textile business within the
Leeds portfolio. Its sale now completes the UK element of the group's planned
withdrawal from textile manufacturing.
The interim report for the six months ended 31st March 2002 will be released on
Wednesday 26th June 2002.
