Further to an announcement issued yesterday, Leeds Group announces that Mr Peter
Gyllenhammar notified the Company on 16th October, that a UK company wholly
owned by him has, on 15th October 2002, acquired 300,000 Leeds Group ordinary
shares and that the total number of Leeds Group ordinary shares in which Mr
Gyllenhammar is directly or indirectly interested now amounts to 6,072,499. This
holding represents 16.6% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
