Leeds Group announces that Mr. Peter Gyllenhammer has notified the Company that
on 18 December 2003 Erudite UK Ltd, a UK company wholly owned by him, acquired
160,000 ordinary shares in Leeds Group plc. Following this purchase, the total
number of Leeds Group ordinary shares in which Mr Gyllenhammer is directly or
indirectly interested amounts to 6,732,499. This holding represents 18.4% of the
Company's issued ordinary share capital.
