                     NEW MANAGEMENT FOR ITALIAN SUBSIDIARY

Following the expiry of their contracts, awarded when Leeds Group Plc acquired
the  company, the management of the Italian subsidiary Nemesis will, by mutual
agreement, be leaving by mid November to pursue their individual interests.

Chris Marsden, Group Chief Executive, is pleased to announce the formation  of
a new professional management team comprising the following individuals:

Matteo Cuccurullo, aged 37 years, has been appointed Managing Director. He has
considerable  experience in a wide range of textile markets,  with  particular
emphasis  in Italy. He will be supported by Guido Trani (new Sales & Marketing
Director),  Carlo  Gorla (Operations Director) and Marziano Masetti  (existing
Finance Director).

The new team will be fully operational by the end of October 1999.
