CONSOLIDATION OF GROUP'S DYEING AND TWISTING ACTIVITIES

The Board of Leeds Dyers Ltd has started consultations with the workforce at
Colourflex, the Rawdon dyeing and twisting branch, which may lead to the
cessation of manufacturing activities on this site, currently employing 55
people.

The Directors believe that by consolidating the Company's dyeing and twisting
activities at Langholm the Group would be better placed to remain competitive in
an increasingly challenging marketplace.
