                             Buy Back of Own Shares

Leeds Group announces that on 18 May 2006 it purchased 125,000 of its own
Ordinary Shares to be held in treasury. The shares were purchased at 21.25p
each. The total number of Ordinary Shares now held in Treasury is 1,375,000 and
the number of remaining Ordinary Shares in issue is 35,223,603.
