                             Buy back of Own Shares

Leeds Group announces that on 23 August 2007 it purchased 125,000 of its own
Ordinary Shares to be held in treasury. The shares were purchased at 21.5p each.

As a result of the above purchase, the total number of Ordinary Shares now held
in treasury is 3,755,618 and the number of remaining Ordinary Shares in issue is
32,282,985.
