Legal & General Group Plc ('the Company') - Director/PDMR Shareholding



Legal & General has been advised that Rudy Markham, a non-executive director of
the Company, has purchased 15,062 Ordinary shares of 2.5p each in the Company at
a price of 128.8p per share.  Following this transaction, Rudy Markham's current
beneficial interest in the Company stands at 34,702 Ordinary shares.



Legal & General has also been advised that Angela Bolton, wife of Mike Bolton, a
Senior Manager of the Company, has sold 36,479 Ordinary shares of 2.5p in the
Company at a price of 128.6p per share.
